Vocational Employment

The Vocational Employment Program provides on-site training and supervision to individuals with persistent mental illnesses. 

 

The program is designed to prepare and assist individuals who have difficulty obtaining and/or maintaining employment. 

 

The goal is to increase employability and self-sufficiency of individuals by providing supportive job skills and a job coach to monitor participants during work placements. 

 

The Vocational Employment Program can be hired for services such as house cleaning, janitorial work, lawn care, snow removal, seasonal yard cleaning, home checks, etc.

 

Referrals to the program are only made by Mental Health Services.

Westland Insurance supports Vocational Employment

Westland Insurance has provided support in the amount of $5,000 to SIGN Vocational Employment.

 

This program provides on-site training and supervision to individuals with persistent mental illnesses and who are referred by Sask Mental Health Services.
