2025 annual general meeting

The 2025 board members are, front row from left, Sheila Hintz, Scott Sharpe, Pat Zaryski; back row, Randy Goulden, Ross Green, Greg Litvanyi and Cory Cadotte.

SIGN held its annual general meeting on June 25, where reports were presented, changes to the bylaws of the organization were approved, and the board was elected.

Board chair Scott Sharpe and CEO Andrew Sedley provided an overview of 2024, with both noting the expansion of services made last year, the increased use of SIGN services by residents of Yorkton and area, and the contributions to the success of the organization made by staff.

The financial report presented by past chair Sheila Hintz indicated that the organization is on solid financial grounds and the auditors noted no issues in their review of the finances.

Changes to the bylaws mean that board members are now elected for three-year terms instead of annually, and that directors may serve three consecutive terms before being ineligible for re-election until at least one year has passed.
